I bow before his divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada the initiator of krsna consciousness  on this earth, who is very dear to Lord Krishna having taken shelter at his Lotus feet who became the seed of propagation of the knowledge of gita across globe and was the founder Acharya of ISKCON- International society for krsna consciousness. .The Bhagavad Gita is the Jewel in Mahabharat, Gita means the song of God. Bhagavad Gita consists of slokas which were originally narrated in form of set of dialogues between Lord Sri Krishna and his dearest friend and disciple Pandava Prince Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra about 5000 years ago. The whole conversation took place between Lord Sri Krishna and Arjuna before beginning of of great Battle of War between Pandavas and Kauravas ,  before the beginning of war the prince Arjuna was full of doubts about his life, living relationships, duty, his habits and many more . There are a total 18 chapters in Bhagavad Gita consisting of 700 slokas. Gita is Epic scripture and regarded as spiritual dictionary by many  great legends  who were inspired by this book and consider it as having answers to all of our problems of this materialistic life full of anxiety, misery, suffering and accidents.

 

Purpose of Bhagavad Gita 

In our life at different stage we feel the need to connect to our spiritual self ,to our creator, care taker of this whole universe, in this regard gita shows us the way to connect with the supreme personality of godhead Lord Sri Krishna . If you read Bhagwat Gita wholeheartedly it will help you to develop spiritual question component of your personality which will lead to a balanced life development. you will spend everyday in mode of goodness in your character and  you will become more introspective and thoughtful, it will help you develop a peace of mind. It helps you to to develop deep understanding behind your existence which in turn helps in self growth without falling victim to the materialistic things surrounding us, you will be able to perform your prescribed duties in the most efficient and productive manner. In this kaliyuga Every man's life is full of difficulty and  anxiety. The best time of day to read Gita is when  your mind is fresh and is in  state of absorbing knowledge. the modern time in which we are living is called kalyug which is of duration of 432000 years so far we have spent nearly 5123 years . With so many years left to pass the gita act as a buoyant force and a guiding light to guide us through the rough waves of this ocean like life.

Five basic truths of Bhagavad Gita 

(1)Ishavara (GOD) who is supreme controller
(2)Jiva(living entity) who is controlled and conditioned
(3)Prakriti (Material nature)
(4)Kala (time)
(5)Karma (activity)

(1)To (4) are considered as eternal  existing forever without end or beginning and (5) is not eternal. Karma can be changed when living entity acts in mode of Goodness, Hence, Karma is not Eternal

Are living entity same as Lord?

LORD	LIVING ENTITY
Not contaminated by material things.	materially contaminated with desires .longingness, expectations of things,people etc location
Conscious of all bodies	Conscious of one's own body
He is the master controller of all	Controlled or condition In his surroundings by the mode of passion goodness or Ignorance
Not affected by Karma	Determines to attain certain way Angle in action and reaction That is karma
Living entities at implied by Lord to his next destination	Is into another based on is karma that is transmigration of soul  takes place

Religion and Science

Many famous scientists of world like  Sir Issac Newton who discovered the law of motion,  James Clark maxwell discoverer  of electromagnetism, Albert Einstein postulated theory of relativity, Max karl ernst Ludwig Planck  postulated quantum theory had one thing common in them. They believed in existence of god.

This most beautiful system of Sun planets and comets could only proceed from the Council and Dominion of an intelligent and powerful being. this Bin governs all things not as the soul of the world but as Lord overall and on account of his Dominion is to be called lord God Universal ruler

Lord Rama is regarded as 7th  and Lord Krishna as 8th incarnation of lord vishnu  Hare Krishna Mahamantra the great chanting for deliverance consists of 32 syllables

 it is said that 1000 names of Vishnu =  1 name of Rama

3 names of Rama =  1 name of Krishna

  In Mahamantra there are

4  names of  Krishna  = 12  names of Rama

There are 4 names of Rama

12 +4 Names of Rama = 16  names of Rama

1  Rama =  1000 Vishnu

16 rama = 16000 vishnu 

1 mahamantra=16000 vishnu names

 

1 mala (108 beads) = 1728,000 vishnu names

So if you chant one round of mahamnatra you have taken 17,28,000 names of vishnu

16 mala= 276,48,000 vishnu names
